This inventory classifies Thomas’s output into distinct conceptual typologies, tracking works held across international museum archives, corporate foundations, and private heritage trusts.

PROPOSALS FOR COMISSION 2026–2029
Josy Thomas presents a limited cycle of proposals for new works in stone, timber and metal: the Ontological Archetypes, the Elements Series and Primordial Forces. Each proposal will be realized once only, at a single scale, and only a limited selection will be carved in the 2026–2029 studio cycle. Where a proposal is sought by more than one party, priority is given to public institutions and museum collections.

TWISTED SPIRIT CYCLE
This seminal body of work constitutes a brutalist psychological intervention detailing the tectonic impact of colonialism on the collective subconscious. Stripping away passive historical distances, these masterworks force the viewer into the immediate, visceral friction of contemporary Haudenosaunee reality.
